Credit score and certified reports (owner)
- Credit Score (owner only, every plan) shows a score from 300 to 850 worked out from the last 6 months of your records: how many days you sell, how much, whether sales are growing, how long you have kept records, whether customers on credit pay back, how much money comes by M-Pesa, Airtel, bank or card (and is confirmed by Safaricom), profit after buying costs and expenses, and supplier bills and till closings. Each part shows its points and a tip to raise it. Parts you don't use (no supplier bills, no till shifts) are not counted against you.
- Bands: 750+ Excellent, 670 Good, 580 Fair, 500 Developing, below 500 Needs work. A new shop sees a provisional score until it has 30 days of records, 20 days with sales and 50 sales.
- Make certified report (PDF) (Business plan and above): a signed report to give a bank, SACCO or supplier. Each report has its own serial number (BD-CR-...), a QR code, and is valid for 90 days. Up to 3 a day.
- The lender scans the QR code or opens api.blueduka.co.ke/v/ and types the serial: the page shows the figures BlueDuka issued, whether the report is still valid, and checks the PDF file itself. A changed file, a made-up serial or a withdrawn report shows as not genuine.
- In the list you see how many times each report was checked. Withdraw a report sent to the wrong person.
- The score uses only your BlueDuka records. It is not a credit bureau (CRB) score and BlueDuka does not lend money.
